The name ‘Trelowen’ Chocolates is loosely translated to ‘Happy Place’ in Cornish. Jon was inspired by his Gran, who he used to love baking with as a young boy. This is the reason Jon chose Trelowen for the name of the business; as it was the name of her B&B.

Jon has been a professional chef for over 12 years, starting his career in an Italian restaurant and quickly moved on to working in a Michelin starred restaurant. He is skilled in all aspects of cooking, but his true passion is chocolates and desserts! Jon has always enjoyed creating and perfecting flavours especially when it comes to chocolates.
